SATURNO 56

 

Cantieri di Pisa introduces Saturno 56, the first model in a new range of five yachts featuring the shipyard’s storied stylistic hallmarks viewed through a contemporary lens to satisfy current market demand. The yachts will range in length from the 38 metres of the smallest model to the 90-metre flagship, all sharing black and white lines on the hull sides, generous “ribbon” windows and a traditionally designed stern.

The first model launched on the market will be Saturno 56, with a refined beach club connected to the Main and Upper Decks by a transverse staircase, a six-cabin layout and interiors by m2atelier, the designer of the Saturno range over 56 metres. The Milan-based studio formed by Marco Bonelli and Marijana Radovic embraces an informal, relaxed on-board lifestyle, ideal for third millennium families.

    "SLEEK AND CHIC": ONE LEAVES THE YARD AT KAAG 

     

    Kaag, Netherlands, 02 November 2024 - The 75.75-metre, four-deck Feadship ONE features a number of elegant design and layout solutions aimed at optimising her appeal and functionality both for private use and as a charter vessel.

    Offering luxury and comfort in equal measure, Studio De Voogt penned the gracefully simple exterior lines. The interior design is by Paris-based Gilles & Boissier, known for their work on New York's Baccarat Hotel.

    “The brief was for a masculine design that was also timeless and elegant,” says Thijs Orth, designer at Studio De Voogt. “The predominantly straight lines and bold forms are combined with subtly nuanced surfaces that catch the light and make the whole yacht interesting to look at. As always, we collaborated very closely with the engineers to make sure everything worked as it should.”

    120-METRE AMELS SUPERYACHT SOLD

    The team at Amels and Damen Yachting has signed a new build 120-metre Amels superyacht by Espen Øino. Imperial represented the Owner and will supervise construction throughout the build. When delivered in 2025, Project Signature will be not only the largest Amels but also the largest superyacht built to date in the Netherlands.

    The Amels yacht is the builder’s third full custom project now on order. Rose Damen, Managing Director of Amels and Damen Yachting, says, “We’re extremely honoured to have been selected for this major 120-metre superyacht project. The yacht builds on our strong relationships with both Imperial and Espen Øino. We have an excellent team on this project, including our designers and engineers at our yard as well as our production department and of course the amazing pool of talented suppliers and subcontractors on our doorstep. Everyone involved is very excited and looking forward to delivering the very best yacht for the Owner.”

    One hundred and fifty years of values, handed down from father to son, with a passion for excellence, design and technological innovation.

    A shipyard that over the years has been able to create real works of art, the only one that can boast an example kept at the same home with Leonardo da Vinci's drawings, at the Museum of Science and Technology in Milan: the 'Brigantino San Giorgio', launched in 1921. In the 1960s, with Lorenzo Benetti, the shipyard revolutionized the yachting world by switching construction from wood to steel: thus the modern megayacht concept was born, with the Delfino, Gabbiano and Mediterraneo series which became iconic boats. They recalled legendary tales of the aristocracy and international jet set in the years of 'la dolce vita'.
